GitHub gives remote Copilot three device modes

GitHub added 3 device-level modes for remotely controlled Copilot sessions: require SSO authorization, disable access, or allow it without restriction. The new remoteControl managed setting can be delivered through a server-managed repository, mobile-device management, or a settings file, beneath the existing enterprise-wide policy. For teams adopting remote computer-use agents, this turns endpoint ownership into an enforceable deployment boundary rather than a handbook rule.
