Tricentis buys Tabnine for its context engine
Tricentis acquired Tabnine, whose enterprise context engine reportedly gives AI systems up to 2× better accuracy while cutting token use by as much as 80%. The Tricentis announcement says it will fold Tabnine’s graph-plus-vector model of code, documentation, tickets, APIs, and infrastructure into its quality and testing agents; reported time to resolution on complex tasks improved by up to 50%. For teams building the context-sharing agent swarms described in the agentic-engineering playbook, the acquisition is a reminder that repository-wide context and dependency maps may be more defensible than another coding autocomplete surface.
