NVIDIA opens a 34B robotaxi model

NVIDIA released Alpamayo 2 Super, a 34-billion-parameter autonomous-vehicle foundation model that its model card says combines a 32B vision-language backbone with a 2.3B action expert. NVIDIA’s announcement says the commercially licensed model ranked first among nearly 40 LingoQA entrants in company testing and beat Qwen2.5-VL 72B by 17.0 points. Robotaxi teams evaluating the evidence gaps behind Zoox’s commercial fleet pilot can now test an inspectable cloud-to-car training stack, but a vendor benchmark is not a substitute for closed-loop safety results on their own routes.
