AWS brings Superblocks into customer clouds

Superblocks signed a multiyear agreement with AWS to place its business-user app generator inside customers’ own AWS accounts, with TechCrunch reporting that the 50-person startup will use Aurora and Bedrock rather than send enterprise data to outside model providers. The Cloud-Prem architecture keeps application data, prompts, and outputs within customer-selected regions while applying existing IAM, VPC, logging, and procurement controls. After Google Cloud framed managed infrastructure as the enterprise-agent moat, operators should file this as another sign that governed app scaffolding—not allegiance to one frontier model—is becoming the hyperscalers’ control point.
