CopilotKit puts one agent in two workplace chats

CopilotKit launched its open-source Channels SDK with managed connections for two workplace platforms, Slack and Microsoft Teams, according to the August 4 release. The SDK lets an AG-UI agent stream replies, call tools, carry cross-platform transcripts, render native controls, and pause for human approval while the agent itself stays on the customer’s infrastructure. For builders, this makes channel delivery another commodity layer around the orchestrator: keep tool contracts portable, but scrutinize the managed credential and event-delivery boundary—the same architectural pressure behind the argument for durable, inspectable agent interfaces.
