Gravity raises $30.5M for chatbot ad plumbing
Gravity raised a $30.5 million Series A, bringing total funding to $38.5 million, for an ad stack that buys and sells placements inside AI chatbots. The funding report says the Lightspeed- and Committed Capital-backed company serves advertisers including Best Buy, Target, Vercel, and MongoDB, and is testing product offers delivered directly to shopping agents rather than shown to people. Against the earlier thesis that ChatGPT ads will reshape AI discovery, operators should file away the emerging integration surface: product catalogs, promotions, attribution, and payment rails may need to be legible to agents as well as search engines.
