xAI’s Grokipedia has left 13,002 suggested edits unresolved after its review pipeline apparently stopped on April 24, according to Lawfare’s audit of the AI-generated encyclopedia. Researchers found no accepted or rejected corrections in a sample spanning 34,519 pages and 225,496 recommendations during the following three months, while none of roughly 480 pages with suitable Wayback snapshots showed changed body text. For builders, the freeze adds a provenance risk to the xAI stack behind SpaceX’s bundled AI business: an automated knowledge base needs observable freshness and a working correction path before it can be trusted for retrieval.
