Mirendil signs a $100M-plus Google Cloud deal
Mirendil signed a multiyear Google Cloud compute agreement worth more than $100 million, roughly half the seed capital the self-improving AI lab raised in June. CEO Behnam Neyshabur told TechCrunch’s report on the deal that it covers both Google TPUs and Nvidia GPUs plus managed training clusters. For AI-research startups, the commitment extends the pattern behind the race to automate recursive model improvement: access to more than one accelerator family is becoming part of the research strategy, not merely a procurement detail.
