Sharon AI reports $8.8B of compute contracts
Sharon AI reported $8.8 billion in total contract value as of August 6 against just $1.9 million in second-quarter revenue, a roughly 4,560-to-1 gap between contracted spend and recognized sales. The Australian neocloud’s earnings release defines that total as estimated committed customer spend rather than GAAP revenue and says capacity rose to 212MW, with more than 64,000 Nvidia GPUs expected by mid-2027. Compute buyers should read the backlog as demand evidence, not delivery proof—the same distinction that governs SpaceX’s neocloud economics.
