GitHub turns off three automatic Copilot reviews

GitHub turned off 3 Copilot review settings that Code Quality had automatically enabled: review every pull request, review new pushes, and review drafts. GitHub’s reversal applies only where its generated ruleset remains unchanged; edited and user-created rulesets stay intact, while teams can opt back in and continue billing reviews to their Copilot plans. Engineering leaders should audit repositories that treated automatic review as a control, because smaller agent-made pull requests still need an explicitly configured reviewer.
