Amazon SES flags likely bot opens and clicks

Amazon SES now labels tracked opens and clicks with 2 possible bot signals, Likely or Unlikely, in its event notifications. The SES launch notice says isBotEvent appears automatically wherever customers already publish Open or Click events, with no configuration change. Operators building attribution or personalization systems should use the flag as a probabilistic filter—not ground truth—because AWS outages have already shown why one provider signal cannot substitute for resilient measurement.
