SK hynix puts 54T won into two memory fabs

SK hynix approved approximately 54 trillion won for two memory fabs: 35.2 trillion won for the Yongin Y2 DRAM plant and 19.1 trillion won for the Cheongju M17 NAND plant. Its board-backed investment announcement targets Y2’s first HBM-capable cleanroom for June 2029 and M17’s for December 2028, while equipment installation will still follow demand.
