Only 3% greatly trust AI financial guidance

AI tools supplied financial guidance to 18% of U.S. adults who sought advice in the past year, but only 3% of adults expressed a great deal of confidence in AI’s expertise, Gallup’s survey found. That adoption-without-trust gap complements the broader pattern of AI crossing job boundaries before organizations redesign approvals: financial-product teams should use copilots to explain and cite, then route consequential recommendations to a human adviser rather than presenting generated guidance as fiduciary judgment.
