CNCF puts 66% of GenAI workloads on Kubernetes

The Cloud Native Computing Foundation says 66% of organizations using generative-AI workloads rely on Kubernetes, while 82% of container users run it in production. CNCF’s KubeCon 2026 announcement adds a new AI Inference + Agentic track covering GPU scheduling, model serving, routing, and observability. Teams comparing the Naïve agent-runtime pilot should treat Kubernetes support as an increasingly consequential deployment constraint, even when the model layer remains portable.
