Global AI raises $441M for sovereign compute

Global AI closed its first debt raise, a $441 million J.P. Morgan-led facility, while reporting $6.2 billion in contracted revenue for sovereign AI infrastructure. The company’s financing release says $1 billion of that contracted revenue has already been built and delivered, and targets 1 gigawatt of dedicated, single-tenant, air-gapped U.S. capacity by 2029. Operators following Europe’s sovereign-AI procurement push should file the structure away: jurisdictional control is attracting infrastructure-scale credit, but buyers still need to verify delivery, utilization, and isolation rather than treating contracted revenue as available capacity.
