Foxconn’s AI racks drive a 35% profit jump

Foxconn’s second-quarter net profit rose 35% year over year to NT$60 billion, while revenue reached a record NT$2.53 trillion, up 41%, as cloud and networking products led by AI server racks accelerated. The official results say AI rack shipments are expected to more than double in 2026, with Vera Rubin racks entering mass production in the third quarter and 800G-and-faster switch revenue also expected to double. For AI infrastructure buyers, the signal is that rack-scale demand is moving through contract manufacturing capacity—not merely showing up in GPU order headlines—extending the supply-chain pressure tracked in Intel’s capacity test.
