GHES 3.22 brings Copilot to air-gapped shops
GitHub Enterprise Server 3.22 enters release-candidate status with a technical preview that lets administrators configure Copilot CLI for disconnected or air-gapped enterprises. The release notes also make Enterprise Teams generally available for centralized access management across organizations and repositories, and add release-status badges in issue sidebars. For teams that keep source and credentials off GitHub Cloud, this is the practical number to file: version 3.22 marks a preview path for terminal agents inside the local control plane; test it against model-provider and network policy before treating it as production-ready, alongside GitHub’s stacked pull requests for coding agents.
