DeepSeek’s API docs now identify deepseek-v4-pro with the V4-Pro-0813 build and price it at $0.435 per million cache-miss input tokens and $0.87 per million output tokens; the model also supports tool calls and the Responses API. The official pricing page schedules a change for August 16: peak rates rise to $1.32 input and $3.96 output, while off-peak rates are half those amounts. Builders testing the DeepSeek V4 local-serving path should record request-time UTC and cost now—the same model name will carry a materially different bill after the pricing switch.
