Higgsfield's AI film still needs human craft
Higgsfield’s AI-made film Cully Hill Boys uses video clips of about 30 seconds, a human-written script, and licensed likenesses from its three lead performers. The production report says the project also publishes many of its prompts and uses Seedance 2.5 to smooth the joins that shorter clips expose. For studios, the near-term lesson is less “replace a crew” than “budget for human story structure and rights clearance”; Netflix’s earlier AI production analysis is a useful benchmark for that division of labor.
