Sarvam opens Voice Agents after 350M calls
Sarvam has opened its Voice Agents platform to developers and businesses after running it in production for more than 350 million conversations, with the company’s product page claiming under 500ms real-time latency and a path from description to live agent in under five minutes. The Sarvam API documentation describes an end-to-end stack that orchestrates speech recognition, reasoning, and speech synthesis for code-mixed Indian-language calls; its product page adds ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II infrastructure claims. Contact-center builders should file the numbers as a production-readiness signal, then test interruption, language switching, and escalation behavior on their own calls before trusting the shortcut, alongside the regional AI ecosystem taking shape around frontier labs.
