Aheesa gets first-pass VIHAAN silicon
India’s Aheesa Digital Innovations achieved first-pass silicon success with VIHAAN, a broadband networking SoC built around the VEGA microprocessor, with production tape-out targeted for 2027. The reported Ministry of Electronics and IT milestone says DLI-backed firms have completed more than 30 chip-design tape-outs and raised over $100 million in venture capital; Aheesa itself raised about ₹40 crore earlier this year. Hardware builders should file the result as a design-ecosystem signal—not a production-volume proof—alongside the site’s analysis of India’s AI app market.
