Anthropic builds an enterprise AI channel
Anthropic formed a new AI services company with 3 founding finance partners—Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs—to bring Claude into the core operations of mid-sized companies. The firm is also backed by 5 additional investment groups, including General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. Anthropic’s announcement says Anthropic Applied AI engineers will work with the new firm’s engineers on custom deployments, backed by General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo, GIC, and Sequoia. Operators should read the move as a delivery-capacity bet: the model vendor is extending implementation help beyond giant enterprises, alongside the site’s analysis of IBM’s OpenAI enterprise practice.
