MatrAIx maps 8.3B synthetic personas

MatrAIx has released a simulated-user evaluation system built around 8.3 billion persona records represented across 1,290 categorical dimensions, with four environments for surveys, chatbots, websites, and apps. The technical report says the team ran 18,189 trials and found declared behavior present or correctly suppressed in 91.5% of a 400-trial adherence study; the open-source repository releases a roughly one-million-persona coreset, while the authors warn that simulated users do not replace real evidence. Product teams can use the system to surface subgroup-specific failure hypotheses before recruiting panels, but should keep human validation as the decision gate alongside the archive’s agent-evaluation governance case.
