Point2 raises $136M for RF AI links

Point2 Technology has brought its Series B financing to $136 million to commercialize e-Tube RF interconnects for AI data-center racks. The company’s funding announcement says the platform targets multi-terabit links, with claimed advantages including 3× lower power and 1,000× lower latency than optical connections; those are vendor figures, not an independent benchmark. The round is another reminder, alongside NVIDIA’s photonic network push, that the next AI bottleneck may sit between accelerators rather than inside them.
