SpaceX targets 10GW for Grok
Elon Musk told SpaceX employees that the company is targeting 10 gigawatts of AI computing capacity by the end of 2027, up from about 1.4 gigawatts today, and said that footprint could produce $300 billion–$500 billion in annual revenue, according to reporting on the SpaceX all-hands. The plan also proposes training Grok on the company’s “sum total” of internal information, without publicly specifying what employee data is included or how consent works. Builders tracking the vertical integration of SpaceX, xAI, and Cursor should file the number as an infrastructure target, not booked revenue: 10GW is a construction and financing claim before it is a product result.
