Gamgee turns a dog vaccine into a YC startup

Gamgee, a Y Combinator startup, is recruiting Australian clinical-trial cases for personalized mRNA cancer vaccines for dogs after its first documented case reported roughly 75% tumor reduction, The Verge reports. The company says the vaccine can be in a veterinarian’s hands in about four weeks, but the evidence is one dog and the treatment was paired with another therapy; builders should file this as a test of whether AI-plus-genomics can lower the personalized-medicine loop, not as proof that it already works. The experiment sits beside AI’s expanding clinical-evidence problem.
