Maximum raises $30M for an AI-native bank OS
Maximum emerged from stealth with a $30 million seed round to build an AI-native operating system for banks, arguing that more than 70% of the nearly 5,000 US banks still run on legacy cores. The company’s financing announcement describes real-time infrastructure on which banks can deploy custom agents and improve visibility into customer activity, but does not yet publish production outcome data. Bank builders should treat the figure as a market signal—not proof of a safe migration—and compare it with the growing cost of enterprise AI infrastructure before replacing a core system.
