Starling publishes a $99 AI memory standard

Starling Memory Works released its Universal Cognitive Architecture as a free, model-agnostic standard and launched Starling MX with a first seat priced at $99 a month. The standard organizes business knowledge into 11 “Organizational Cognates” and uses semantic addresses rather than broad search, while the pricing page says the repository lives in a customer-owned Notion workspace and model usage is metered separately. Enterprise AI teams should file the architecture as a portability bet—keep governed memory outside the model vendor—alongside the archive’s analysis of stateless agent infrastructure.
