Velaura raises $110M for low-power AI compute

Velaura AI raised $110 million in Series A financing at a valuation above $1 billion to commercialize its Titan Core low-power AI silicon, the company said in its funding announcement. Velaura claims 2–4× better performance per watt for mathematical operations and says the underlying technology has shipped in more than 30 million ASICs; builders should treat those as a diligence lead for workload-level power data, alongside the archive’s account of how chip-to-chip links constrain AI systems.
