Codistry claims 48% lower coding-agent cost
Adronite says its new Codistry coding platform cut average task cost by 48% against Claude Code in a company benchmark using the same Claude Opus 4.8 model, prompts, tools, and settings. The launch report puts the PocketBase comparison at $1.10 versus $2.12 per task, with Codistry’s one-time indexing cost spread across later work; its model documentation says teams can also point the tool at local or air-gapped OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Builders should treat the result as a context-engine benchmark to reproduce on their own repositories, not a universal model discount; the harness swing documented by Octobench is the warning label.
