Harness agents compress vulnerability response

Harness says its new security agents cut a benchmark queue from 1,746 findings to 1,381 actionable cases, a 21% reduction, while its Remediation Agent writes and validates a fix before opening a human-reviewed pull request. In the launch announcement, the company also says its Zero-Day Agent can map affected artifacts and prepare a fix in seconds, against an average 55-day vulnerability-fix cycle and exploits that can arrive within six hours. Security teams should file the number as a reminder that AI remediation is only useful when governed CI/CD still owns the merge and deployment; California’s agency-level cyber accountability model points to the control plane that makes that handoff credible.
