Unitree shares jump 460% on debut

Unitree Robotics’ shares rose more than 460% on their Shanghai debut, closing at 845 yuan after an IPO price of 150.80 yuan, according to the BBC’s report. The company shipped more than 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025 and reported 278 million yuan in net profit, but a first-day multiple measures investor appetite—not proof of broad deployment demand; home use still faces battery, privacy, and reliability constraints. Robotics builders should file the signal as a public-market premium for China’s commercialized hardware and compare it with the concentration inside H1 physical-AI funding, where a few large deals account for much of the category’s capital.
