Veeda AI raises $90M for robot world models
Veeda AI, led by former Nvidia Toronto AI lab chief Sanja Fidler, launched with $90 million in funding to build world models for physical AI. BetaKit’s launch report says the startup’s backers include Radical Ventures and Khosla Ventures, and that its simulations will let robots learn from virtual interactions rather than expensive, slow real-world trial and error. The signal for builders is that simulation is attracting infrastructure-scale capital before a standard world-model benchmark exists; the edition’s physical-AI funding analysis shows why that capital is concentrating.
