AMD says its representative AI rack is now 4x as energy-efficient as its 2024 baseline, ahead of its interim target on the way to a 20x rack-scale improvement by 2030. The company’s update says the 2026 result combines measured product data with modeled estimates, and its illustrative end state is two 2030 racks doing the work of 570 2024 racks.
