Binance gives AI agents trading accounts
Binance launched Agent OS, connecting AI applications to market data and trading across more than 300 million registered exchange users, while its dedicated agent sub-accounts block withdrawals by default. The launch coverage says users can require approval for every order or let an agent trade autonomously, but Binance sets no separate trading-loss cap: the funds transferred to the sub-account are the limit. The platform’s wallet rails impose daily ceilings of $50,000 for swaps, $100,000 for DeFi transactions, and $20 for x402 payments. Builders working on agent harness cost and control should file the boundary: financial agents are shipping with permissions and capital limits as the safety primitive, not model reasoning.
