Taiwan charges nine over B300 server exports

Taiwanese prosecutors charged nine people, including one Nvidia employee and two former Super Micro employees, over the alleged export of 74 B300 AI servers to mainland China, according to the Associated Press account of the prosecutors’ case. A further 56 servers allegedly failed to leave Taiwan, and prosecutors are seeking maximum five-year sentences for four defendants. Hardware teams should file the episode beside the archive’s account of earlier AI-chip export-control risk: compliance now follows the server and its routing chain, not merely the chip’s original invoice.
