Xiaomi puts 200 TOPS into its phone chip

Xiaomi unveiled a three-chip Xring lineup, including the 3nm Xring O3 phone processor whose redesigned NPU claims up to 200 TOPS for MiMo on-device models, according to TrendForce’s report on the launch. The company also showed the 6nm, 3D-stacked Xring O100 accelerator with claimed 330-token-per-second local inference, plus a D100 chip for intelligent driving. Xiaomi is turning local AI into a silicon stack rather than a feature checkbox; the case for compute control now reaches the phone, not only the data center.
