XPeng robotics raises $900M at a $6.3B value
XPeng’s robotics business raised more than $900 million at a post-money valuation above $6.3 billion, the company said in its financing announcement. The round, led by IDG Capital with Gaorong Ventures and strategic backing from Tencent and Alibaba, will fund Physical AI research, production facilities, and global expansion; XPeng says its IRON humanoid is expected to enter mass production by the end of 2026. That capital arrives before the broader humanoid-robot factory proof point: builders should watch delivery yield and real-world data, not another demo milestone.
