Claude Tag reads the room before it speaks

Anthropic says Claude Tag is now roughly 30% better at deciding when to respond proactively after switching from one-message-at-a-time classification to full-channel context, memory, and standing instructions, according to Anthropic’s product update. The Slack agent can reply inline, start deeper work in a thread, route a message to work already in flight, or stay silent; the added context currently carries no extra usage or spend charge for Teams and Enterprise customers. Teams giving agents ambient access should measure unwanted interventions as carefully as useful ones, extending the archive’s analysis of approval boundaries for Claude write actions.
