Google gives financial agents 50-plus skills

Google Cloud launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services in preview with a Financial Research agent carrying more than 50 foundational skills. The package connects through MCP to licensed systems including SEC Edgar, FactSet, S&P Global, and PitchBook, while Google says customer data is not used to train or fine-tune its foundation models and the control plane enforces VPC and CMEK policies. Teams comparing it with Google’s existing enterprise-agent bundle should treat the preview as a governed integration surface to pilot, not proof that regulated research is production-ready.
