Navitas buys Claros for $232.8M power push

Navitas agreed to acquire Claros for up to $232.8 million, including about $216 million at closing, to add vertical power delivery and integrated voltage-regulator technology for AI data centers, according to the transaction report. Navitas says the deal would more than double its 2030 serviceable addressable market to above $8 billion, although the transaction remains subject to approval and its financial contribution is not expected until 2028–29. Data-center builders should treat processor-adjacent power conversion as part of the compute supply chain, alongside the archive’s analysis of grid constraints on AI capacity.
