Deep Cogito raises $43M for post-training

Deep Cogito has raised a $43 million Series A, bringing its total outside funding above $56 million to scale post-training and self-improvement research. SiliconANGLE reports that TQ Ventures led the round and Zscaler joined as both customer and strategic investor; the lab’s Cogito v2.1 release describes an open-weight model trained with process supervision. That makes post-training a funded layer rather than a purely academic bet; teams comparing Qwen’s open-model ecosystem should watch whether specialized weights can improve without the cost of a new pretraining run.
