Cloudflare adds a 1M-token model to AI Search
Cloudflare added Z.ai’s GLM-5.3-Flash to AI Search on August 30, giving its hosted text-generation path a 1,048,576-token context window and $0.15 input/$0.50 output per million tokens, according to Cloudflare’s changelog and the Workers AI model documentation. For teams already using AI Search, long retrieval contexts can now stay inside Cloudflare’s managed path instead of requiring a separate model endpoint, though a large context ceiling says nothing about quality or throughput. Builders comparing low-cost long-context routing can use the GLM-5.3-Flash price-performance analysis as a baseline before moving customer-facing workloads.
