Clipto reaches $250M valuation on $15M ARR
Clipto raised $15 million in an all-equity round at a $250 million post-money valuation after reaching $15 million in annual recurring revenue at the start of 2026, according to TechCrunch’s funding report. The company says more than 30 million people have used its products and that its new MCP integration lets ChatGPT and Claude retrieve only user-authorized indexed files while processing runs locally. MCP’s move toward stateless agent infrastructure is the useful comparison: file search is becoming agent plumbing, but this round backs a bet that cross-app memory can remain a standalone product rather than a feature absorbed by Adobe, Apple, or Google.
