Pentagon gives ChatGPT Mil 1.7M users

ChatGPT Mil and Grok for Government now sit inside GenAI.mil, which has reached more than 1.7 million unique users out of roughly 3 million Defense Department personnel, according to TechCrunch’s report on the launch. Defense One’s account says ChatGPT Mil targets controlled unclassified work such as planning, logistics, policy, and administration. That is roughly 57% portal penetration as new models arrive; builders selling into government should treat secure model portals as distribution channels and design against pre-deployment evaluation rules.
