Aslan raises $20.8M for government AI agents

Aslan launched with $20.8 million from Khosla Ventures, XYZ Venture Capital, and others to build AI-agent infrastructure for intelligence and law-enforcement work, according to the launch report. The company says its systems remain under human supervision and will not be used against U.S. citizens; Aslan’s mission page describes the customer set without publishing independent performance evidence. For builders, AISI’s agent-evaluation record is the relevant companion: high-consequence deployments need a written jurisdiction, audit, and stop rule before autonomy becomes a feature.
