DataAgent launches with $10M for Kubernetes remediation
DataAgent emerged from stealth with a $10 million pre-seed led by MizMaa Ventures and Alicorn Venture Partners, launching an in-cluster AI SRE for Kubernetes and connected infrastructure, according to the company’s launch release. The 15-person startup says its agents remediate approved fault classes locally and can cut observability spend by up to 90% by avoiding a second telemetry copy, while unproven cases go to humans. That makes it a fact to file beside the site’s analysis of coding-agent harness costs: the adoption test is whether verified rollback and scaling actions reduce MTTR without turning production into an unreviewed experiment.
