Physical Superintelligence raises $58M for physics

Physical Superintelligence launched with a $58 million seed round led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, putting its Emmy “virtual physicists” first to work on terrestrial and orbital AI data-center optimization. The company says Emmy combines reasoning models and simulations to tackle coupled power, cooling, network, and compute design problems before construction. For operators, file this as a new simulation-led infrastructure pitch, not proof of deployment gains; the useful next evidence is a measured cost, capacity, or energy improvement against conventional design, alongside the site’s analysis of AI data-center capex.
