Meta ships Muse Spark 1.3 for coding agents

Meta released Muse Spark 1.3 for Muse Code and Meta Model API, reporting roughly 20% fewer tool calls and 25% fewer tokens than Muse Spark 1.2 in its coding comparisons, according to the Muse Spark 1.3 announcement. Meta’s evaluation methodology says those comparisons use max reasoning, which is not yet available while additional safety testing continues. Teams testing coding agents should compare their own traces with Meta’s per-message agent billing before treating a vendor-reported token reduction as a budget forecast.
