Krafton commits another $250M to India

Krafton committed another $250 million to India over the next three to four years, taking its direct investment in the country above $500 million as it expands beyond gaming into AI, robotics, and deep tech. The South Korean publisher’s pledge is separate from its $670 million India-focused growth fund; its BGMI game has passed 260 million downloads and the company has backed about 18 Indian startups. Builders should file this as an ecosystem signal, not a product launch: India’s AI infrastructure is already pricing Rubin capacity at $40 million per megawatt, and non-AI incumbents are following the capital.
